For the client sided mode, you only need 1 voicecraft server. Binding is server sided mode which is a different setup as you need to set up a bedrock server and make that connect to the VoiceCraft server. So each client/student needs to join their own singleplayer world, run the /connect command to connect Minecraft to the VoiceCraft client then they can join your world. Also I use a VPS (Virtual Private Server) for server sided and client sided in the video which acts like a standalone public windows server. For each client/student connecting to the VoiceCraft server, no they do not need a VPS, they just need the client software and the IP to the VoiceCraft server which is your VPS. The reason why I use As for the education edition, I am not sure it will work because I have never tested it on that version plus it might have an updated MCWSS protocol that might not be compatible with VoiceCraft since it's based on an extremely outdated version. |

Hi, I have a few basic questions about VoiceCraft.
I am very new to this area, but I am trying to use your software to teach English to students. Please bear with me if my questions are too dull to answer. My goal is to help my students interact in voice chat in the Minecraft world that I created.
From your tutorial video on YouTube, I understand that I need to construct the server-side VC in my Minecraft world. Students connect from the client side and bind to the Minecraft world when they join. Did I understand correctly? If I did, does it mean that each student needs a VDS server to use VC?
I successfully followed the tutorial, as shown in the image below, connecting to the client side in the VC Windows app. However, when I tried to connect in the single-play world, it constantly failed to connect. I followed the steps to allow loopback, but I still had no luck.
2-1. Extending from question 2, are you running Minecraft on VDS in your video? Is that the reason you use 127.0.0.1:8080 to connect the server? If I run Minecraft on the desktop and VoiceCraft on VDS, should I use /connect (My VDS IP):8080 instead? (Which I tried, but it still did not work).
I watched your video multiple times and tried to figure it out by myself, but I really need some help.
Thank you so much for your time and effort.
