Taking feedback into account and making adjustments accordingly is an important aspect of any project. Brent has been giving us feedback by helping us troubleshoot bugs in our code and advising us on how to implement our next coding steps. Molly has been giving us feedback by advising us on what specific keywords to use and not to use on the final design document and recommending us to utilize Zotero to collect and cite our data sources, which has been helping us fine-tune Chapters 1-3.

Adjustments

Since we have created the demo, we have been making a few adjustments to the code. These adjustments consist of merging the Google search URL code with the download link code and utilizing the Google search library to get the URLs from the “More Results” section of the google search. In order to do these tasks, we have been Creating an HTML content locator and extractor, which hunts and extorts specific HTML content based on their defined tags.

Limitations

Finding consistent time to work together and dealing with the limitations of the Jupyter notebook interface, such as failures to update when two people work on the notebook at the same time, have been the main challenges we have faced. However we have been addressing these challenges by maintaining team communication and exploring alternative options such as making copies of the notebook and then implementing those changes in the original notebook.

Conclusion

Overall, we are making significant progress and adapting as needed to overcome challenges. We plan to keep on track and not hesitate to seek feedback and make adjustments as needed to ensure the success of our program and our final design paper.
