You're defining defaults by folder type, not folder path. Explorer determines the folder type based on contents. Are those folders empty or contain a mix of file types? |

The "Apply this template to all subfolders" is broken in Windows 11. That's documented in the WinSetView manual. I've been hounding Microsoft to fix it for 4 years. If the majority files in each folder match the folder type you want, AFTD should set it correctly. Otherwise, you can set each folder individually and it should stick. Or use my SetFolderType tool to set a whole directory tree. Those workarounds work on NTFS local disks. |

Only if the properties for that volume display as "NTFS" and "Local disk". Otherwise, currently, only the Windows 10 Explorer will set the folder type correctly for the whole directory tree. |

This tool doesn't seem work correctly (or else I'm doing something wrong).
I've defined all the customized folder types, submitted the changes. Explorer will reset as expected. I can customize my folders and they seem to be ok, but when I come back to them later or just reopen file explorer, they will be all reset back to general items.
