Tabmat 4.0 is an effort to make the API of the MatrixBase subclasses more consistent. Furthermore, a number of major features are planned for this release:

• formula interface for creating matrices
• column name metadata

The core PR of this milestone is #286, and every other feature aimed at this release is based on that (tabmat-v4) branch.
