1password setup?

starting to go through the onboarding for JBang and Quarkus and figuring out where to store credentials.

I see https://github.com/commonhaus/foundation-internal/blob/main/handbook/tools/credentials.md which I've followed and have registered my commonhaus.dev and now member.

But I don't see how to create a shared vault to setup and add secrets/people to.

The doc says "Access to Shared Vaults will have to be managed individually (rather than by group)" ...what does that refer to ? Do I need to request a shared vault to be created or how?

onboarding issue mention 1password and bitwarden - but only links to 1password...is there similar for bitwarden or how?

I did not find one. I could ask for a non-profit discount, but that isn't the same as free for open source projects as an official offering (which is what 1Password has).

Self-hosting isn't viable for all kinds of reasons.

If a team has separate funding and uses BitWarden, you're free to continue to do that, but the foundation would need access for continuity/oversight reasons (2FA and passkey is doable).

Max! I was working on on-boarding scripts this morning, and missed this question. Sorry.

For 1Password, I have to update the credentials file, because there is a seat/user limit of 10, which I didn't realize originally. 🤦‍♀️
