3/31/2021 Discussions feature are now available on private repos. All existing discussions here were moved to the Product Planning repo!
Discussion is a new feature that's currently in beta. It currently requires the repo to be public in order to activate it.
We're seeing how it feels to have deep discussions of topics/projects using this new feature, since the issue card has a lot of problems with threading and navigating the comments.
There is a similar discussion feature on Github called Team Discussions - which can be a nightmare to scan through and navigate since it displays the first post upfront. We have it here.
The flow and how to use this feature is an ongoing learning experience.
