Why this task matters
Sharing prototypes with the “outside” (i.e. people who are not involved in the StoryQuest development) provides a fresh perspective: because playtesters are not involved in the game's creation, they can easily identify bugs and inconsistencies in addition to other potential improvements.
For example, if your team makes a StoryQuest about climate change, questions for playtesters might include: Does the game convey awareness about climate change? In what way? Are you more interested in learning about climate change after playing?
You and your teammates can refine your work based on the answers received after collecting the data from the playtesting sessions.
