Relevant to Greenland/airborne:
On April 19, 2024, NASA selected Snow4Flow as one of six new Earth Ventures Suborbital-4 missions:
https://science.nasa.gov/earth/nasa-selects-new-aircraft-driven-studies-of-earth-and-climate-change/
Snow4Flow is a 5-year airborne mission surveying and modeling snowfall and ice flow across the Arctic, with four regional foci: Alaska, Southeast Greenland, the Canadian High Arctic, and Svalbard. The PI is Jack Holt (University of Arizona LPL) and the Deputy PIs are myself (NASA/GSFC/615) and Lauren Andrews (NASA/GSFC/GMAO).
Technically, the mission begins after the science and instrument teams are selected and the mission is confirmed. Positions on these teams will be competed via ROSES via a TBD solicitation for each EVS-4 mission, but the timeline for those is not yet finalized.
