I have gotten very fond of how Ghostty does this, essentially all their issues are actionable, if they are not actionable they are discussions. This means that everything starts as discussions before a task is actionable, I don't think we need or should be that strict but I do think that many of our issues aren't actionable. I would also support a issue label indicating that a decision needs to be made for an issue to become actionable. |

I think that many of them are actionable already. And those who need more discussion or input could be marked with either question or help needed. So we have plenty of ways to signal if it is worth working on for someone who would come from the blue and not asking questions first (which isn't a problem we have needed to deal with yet). Converting them to discussions won't really solve the question at hand, just split the number of outstanding ideas into two different backlogs. What we ultimately need is time and energy to do the work, not an inbox zero in the issues queue. While the Ghostty method seems logical, it is kind of novel and almost a bit bureaucratic. |

There are currently 68 issues/feature requests, of which 30 are from 2021.
We can continue to discuss/evaluate certain issues. But ultimately, decisions must be made.
