• Cloud-native OpenAerialMap 6: Replace The Legacy API

  The old Node/Hapi API is ancient: https://github.com/hotosm/oam-api Last major development stopped in 2018. It got a little love in 2023 to keep things working. But overall, it would be best to start over, rather than to revive this legacy app using antiquated tech. Note: this is an internal continuation from work started by DevSeed & not contracted out (yet). - [ ] Athentication and user management - [ ] Uploader / transcoder - [x] Metadata will be handled by eoAPI STAC ingestion endpoints in future (for now we use the legacy API, then sync / ingest at an interval). - [x] Analytics (not planned / probably covered by STAC extensions) - [x] TMS service will be replaced by eoAPI TiTiler instance.
