This is a significant redesign of the UI and the workflow for the Scribe View, to try to improve the efficiency and accuracy and metrics for the scribes' work. There will be further milestones, but this one will collect a bunch of related / dependent work which we want to have all come together in the first milestone of the new UI release. Some of the UI features, and much of the backend work, could be delivered incrementally prior to the milestone delivery. I don't know how you all handle such dependency management in JIRA - let me know if you have a preference. It looks like you aren't using versions, so what I will do until I hear otherwise is add a label to tasks which can't be delivered until the full Milestone delivery. So anything not labeled that way could be delivered incrementally as it is developed. Besides the UI changes, there are some dependencies on architectural changes which will require backend changes as well. For instance: 1) Compound macros (which change any number of the Chart fields at one time, instead of only one field today) 2) Default macros (which are pre-populated every time a new chart is started for that doctor. this is already being worked on, backend-wise) 3) Task thinking turns into recording thinking 4) A new Chart table (for completed patient chart info) 5) Clearer and explicit state management in the Scribe workflow around those recordings and charts 6) Shift / scheduling features (already being worked on) 7) Some new metrics on scribe hours and productivity
