how to update the solo firmware under win10

hi
i'm a total newbie to python and couldn't find any help online.
i want to update my solokey with the solo-python as recommended by the support. i downloaded the files from github and installed python 3.9 on my win10.
what do i have to do now, to update the firmware?

No problem.
You will need to open up a command prompt or power shell. Hit the windows button, and type "cmd" and right click on the cmd prompt app and run as administrator.

In the newly opened command prompt, run the following commands.

pip install solo-python
solo key update

The first command installs the solo-python tool and then the next command uses the solo tool to perform the update. If the first command fails, you may not have python on the PATH. You should rerun the Python installer and make sure you've checked the box to add python to the PATH.

thx. i guess i have to move the cmd-path to the downloadfolder of the solo-python?
or what do you actually mean by having python on the PATH?

ok, got it. i had it allready on the path, but forgot to open powershell as admin. thx for your help!
