Every time the device boots, the clock is set to the server time provided in the HTTP response of the version check.

By default, the server determines this time using the device's public Wi-Fi IP address.

I have removed the time offset lines in ota.cc it fixed the top display clock time as I am in UTC+0 time zone. But when I ask what time is it? it would still give me the UTC+8 time?

Is it because the server identifies your IP address as being in China?

That's depends how the server identify the ip location, I can PM you my IP. When I ask what is the location and UTC, it say london UTC+0 but it give UTC+8 time??

Your information is very helpful. A bug was discovered where a timezone of 0 was considered invalid and the default East 8 timezone was used. We have already fixed this issue. You can try restarting your device.

I have reflashed back to stock 2.0.5 the top bar clock is fixed but when I ask what time is it, it say I am in London UTC+0 GMT0 but give me UTC+8 time. Does deep seek have it own clock?? If I ask what is China time, it would give me +16 time.

The chat server needs to be restarted to take effect. It could be fixed in 24 hours too (work days).
