Saved categories disappear on firefox

I'm on GNOME and every time I create and save a new category it disappears when I close the tab and re-open it.

You are likely using some setting or extension in firefox which does not allow saving settings in the browsers LocalStorage so it gets reset so it's likely local for that specific tab rather than being persistent between tabs.

My suggestion would be to install another browser to see if my assumption is true, if it is uninstall that browser again and try to find out what extension or firefox setting which breaks this.

Adding the localhost address in:

Firefox > Preferences > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data > Manage Exceptions > Address of website

and selecting “Allow” fixed the problem.
