aios not compatible with "page info"

If I disable aios the page info function works I have a win7/64bit machine with firefox version 42

I am seeing the same with 42. I can't remember if it was 42 that broke it, but I know this has worked fairly recently.

I'm not sure either but I have found another (older)version of the aios that allows "page info" to work with version 42, I even created this link using it!

As a temporary circumvention, have you tried

clicking the AiOS "i" (for information) button while holding down the shift key?

For me, that opens page information in a new window and all the information except 'security' is then present.

The modifier key may be different for you if you have changed it.

I don't understand your reference to clicking the "i" I opened up the AiOS to try your suggestion but I had no luck, sorry.

On the AiOS toolbar (beside the sidebar) should be a button to display Page Info. When you hover over it, its tooltip will say "Display extensive information about a web page" and some instructions.

On Windows at least, if you hold the 'shift' key down while you left-click that button, page info will open in a window instead of the sidebar. When it does that for me, I see that all 'Page Info' tabs have content except the 'Security' tab. For some people that may help.

Alternatively, in the AiOS Options choose

'Panels' (button) > 'Other I' (tab) > 'Page Info' (frame) and >
unset/uncheck/untick 'Open in Sidebar' (checkbox).

That will cause 'Page Info' to open in a window every time and all tabs except 'Security' will display data.

That is the problem specifically addressed in topic "Page Info / Security is empty #93" opened ten days before this seemingly more general report.

It is, for me, only part of this topic's problem and the one part for which the method I described cannot be temporarily used as a circumvention.

Thanks for all the reports and excuse me for the long time silence on this. The project is not dead and I will work on a solution. :-)
