Favorites crash the client if you're too fast

steps to reproduce

1. open client
2. go to favorites and click a server
3. the player count updated
4. the masterlist finishes loading and the treewidget jumps back to the ms list
5. click connect
6. SIGSEGV
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

ideally the list wouldn't pop back to the MS after you click on favorites
