I've no idea why, I've checked everything twice and even rolled back to Create 5 with the older Metalworks mod, but I cant get brass to mix.
I also cant get Ironworks metals to alloy either :(
Version 1.20.1
Loader: Forge 47.4.0
Latest build of Metalwork, Create and JEI
Steps to reproduce:
- Setup a basic mixing station (basin, mixer, burner + rotation to drive it)
- Feed burner so it is 'heated'.
- Place 1 copper ingot into the basin, allow to molten
- Place 1 Zinc ingot into the basic, allow to molten
At this point the basin should then notice that the recipe requirements have been met and combine the 111mb of Copper with 111mb of Zinc to make 444mb of Brass (according to JEI) but nothing happens.
If I manually pour in 1000mb of molten copper, and then 1000mb of molten Zinc then it works, but I have to pump out the brass as it is made or it gets stuck (I suspect the basin is then 'too full'). It also leaves 1mb of copper and zinc behind, which wont then stack with extra ingots/material being added. All very weird.
TLDR:
Basin only seems to make alloys when you start with 1000mb of material. Otherwise it doesn't start the recipe, even with a filter. But once its started it will work, but your left with 1mb of extra material. This doesnt line up with JEI
Is this a bug? Or is JEI wrong? Or is this just a weird work around for how the basin works and you have to use.
