pytest has recently deprecated allowing the direct construction of FunctionDirect construction of Function, now has to be constructed with Function.from_parent. pytest-asyncio uses Function the old way, and they recently released an update that is compatible with the new pytest. However, we were fixing pytest-asyncio dependency to 0.10.0 (due to a previous error with 0.11.0 that got fixed, can not find what that error is though) and not getting the update. I've tried using latest pytest-asyncio and tests are passing locally
