What versions of Node can be used?

I have been using this with Node v6, but now that it is out of LTS we're looking at updating to a later version. Has anyone seen issues with Node v8 or Node v10?

@HolisticDeveloper You can use a newer version of Node.js with IISNode. I am currently using 8.9.4. You can check the available versions from your Kudu console. Go to Kudu console and then look for Runtime Versions. This URL will tell you all of the supported Node.js versions in a JSON format. You can change the version by adding a new Application setting in Azure. Setting Name: WEBSITE_NODE_DEFAULT_VERSION and then the value will be the version of node. You do not have to update your npm version it will automatically update when you update the node version. Every Node version has an associated npm version. Please let me know if it worked.

Thanks for your input, although I'm not sure what Kudu is -- something for Azure, I guess? I'm using iisnode with an on premise IIS instance.

@HolisticDeveloper My answer is from the perspective of Azure. Kudu is a deployment framework used by (IISNode) Azure app services. I am not too familiar with IIS instances on bare metal. Maybe someone from the Microsoft team can answer your question.

I'm using IISNode currently on local windows server installation with Node v11.11.0 @HolisticDeveloper. I haven't had any issues getting it to behave correctly.

I have IISNODE running on 10.23.0 - but it won't run on 12.20.1 - get 500 error. I have not researched this to find out more information.
