## w/c 2 February 2026

### Rose-bud-thorn

#### 🌹Rose
* Working on revising the Waller Lab paper Blog post
I have finished my first rough draft for the Waller Lab paper Blog post.
I am working on getting it reviewed and will continue to make more edits.

#### 🌱 Bud
* I'm looking forward to continuing to work on assigned tasks and helping host future events!

#### 🌵 Thorn
* The Waller Lab paper blog post took me extra time initially because of the technical concepts.
It was a bit difficult to determine how much technical language and knowledge to include in the blog post while also keeping in mind length & context.
I hope to get some revisions to help me understand what others think & how I can improve my draft.

### 🤝 Reciprocal support

#### Who did I help?
* LWH with event preparation for Jupyter Health team
* Finished uploading the Walsh blog post draft onto the website (waiting on final review)

#### Who helped me?
* LWH
* Helped me with understanding event preparation details and blog post templates!
* JK
* Helped walk through how to post this template onto github

### Activities / tasks

#### What did I do?
* Finished uploading the website draft of the Walsh presentation (0.5 hrs)
* Drafted initial Waller Lab paper blog post (6 hrs)
- This took me longer because of the technical jargon - I had to go back a couple times to understand the context of the paper and the mathematical concepts being mentioned.
* Event preparation (0.5 hrs)

#### What will I do next week
* Create a second refined draft on the Waller Lab paper blog post
* Review any pending changes for the Walsh presentation draft on the website & publish!
