Where to find Windows setting to enable WiFi adapter access

When I start NETworkManager, and open the WiFi tab, I get the following error:

"Access to the Wi-Fi adapter is not permitted by Windows.

Open the Windows settings and allow Wi-Fi access for this application.

Restart the application afterwards to use this feature."

There's a button named "Open Settings" that opens Windows settings, but when I look in Windows Settings, it's not obvious to me what settings need to be updated. It's possible that the settings I'm looking for are hidden by company policy. Can you share any information on which settings should be updated? A screenshot of the relevant Windows settings would be very helpful. Thank you in advance.

i can add it to the documentation / note in the app. It's currently under privacy & security in the windows settings. There is an app permission for location access (GPS / WIFI). You need to enable it for desktop apps:

Hi @BornToBeRoot , thank you for the advice. I do think adding this to the documentation would be helpful, as I wouldn't have thought to check the Location settings for WiFi access.
