To become the hub for Canadians to engage with government spending data, we must consolidate data from all levels First Nations, who are downstream of both federal and provincial spending.

The compliance of the First Nations following the act is the first factor to determine if this is able to become a reputable branch in CanadaSpends.

Data must be collected from the publicly available PDF files on the Federal website:

• Financial Statements
• Remuneration

This may become a larger project out of CanadaSpends franchise, however, the nature of creating a flow from Federal > Provincial > First Nations will show that can be followed how it is distributed. Indigenous Priorities accounted for $42.84B in 2024 Federal Spending.
