Issue while rotating image.

Hi,

I have a problem statement where user can rotate image using css. The zoom window should work for rotated image as well.

What is happening now, after I rotate the image, zoom is working on specified portion only. Its not working for top and bottom corners.

I have created a plunker for you to understand

As we can see, zoom is not working for edge portion.

Please help me with this as this is very important feature for me.

Hi @omkark!

When you rotate an image with css, getting the dimensions of the image still returns values as if it was not rotated, so AnythingZoomer plugin is not properly accounting for the angle of the content.

There is a great css-tricks article on getting the angle of a rotated element using javascript. This code would need to be included in the plugin to cover all angles and scales.

It may not be as difficult in your case since 90 & 270 angles only need the width & height swapped; but it would still need to be done within the plugin.

My time is very limited at the moment, so I'll have to put this on the "to-do" list of enhancement requests.

You could use a square image.

Actually, I recently noticed that jQuery v3.0.0+ returns the rotated and/or transformed width & height of an element. Please try using a newer version and see if that fixes this issue.
