You must be signed in to change notification settings - Fork 7
Description
Please complete the following information:
- Minecraft version: 1.20.1
- Forge Version: 47.4.0 (not Neoforge, plain Forge)
- BuildCraft Version (Add Hash if from github): buildcraft-7.99.24.9-1.20.1-2025-04-26-all
- Any additonal mods: please see below
Pickaxes of any material do not work in survival, when Buildcraft 7.99.24.9 is installed: wood, stone, iron, gold, diamond, netherite, with or without enchants, makes no difference. Chop at a random stone block and you will see right away. Breaking animation is about as slow as if you were punching the stone block with empty hands. When the block finally breaks, the stone block disappears with no drops, same as if you were using empty hands / not using a pickaxe at all.
I have tested this with only Buildcraft installed, as well as with a selection of other mods:
Advanced Peripherals, Balm, CBMultipart, CC:Tweaked, Client Tweaks, CodeChickenLib, CraftingTweaks, Jade, JourneyMap, JourneyMap Integration, Just Enough Archeology, Just Enough Breeding, Just Enough Effects Descriptions, Just Enough Items, Just Enough Professions, Just Enough Resources, Memory Leak Fix, Minecart Peripherals, Mouse Tweaks, No Chat Reports, No Telemetry, ProjectRed Core, ProjectRed Expansion, ProjectRed Exploration, ProjectRed Fabrication, ProjectRed Illumination, ProjectRed Integration, ProjectRed Transmission, Railcraft Reborn, Turtle Charging Station.
Before you go ape on the above mods, please note that I have without all of the above mods, brand new instance with only the above Minecraft and Forge versions and Buildcraft.
I did have all of the above mods loaded in a different instance when I switched to survival in my testing world and discovered that pickaxes were not working. Copied the instance and started pulling mods until I zeroed in on the offending mod which in this case appeared to be Buildcraft.
I then created a brand new instance, installed Forge and only Buildcraft in this new instance, booted it up and created a world to test again: pickaxes do not work in survival, regardless of their material.
