ctif-cc:60: Unsupported character width: 0x2

I am trying to display an image with the "CC: Tweaked" mod v1.86.2 (fork of ComputerCraft). I successfully created the file by running the converter (Version 0.2.2) like this:

java -jar CTIFConverter.jar -m cc-paletted -P preview.png -o image.ctif astronaut_pixel.png

This worked with no issues but then when I try to view the image with the latest viewer (viewers/ctif-cc-1.8.lua commit 6a7a6cc) it returns an error

ctif-cc:60: Unsupported character width: 0x2

Any idea how to fix this?
