Hi!

I saw that this issue has been open for about 2 years now, which leaves me thinking pathfinding is still a major pain in Citizens. I'd like to make a suggestion:

I've developed a dedicated pathfinding library called pathetic – highly optimized for grid-based environments like Minecraft (its origin is actually Minecraft). There's a Bukkit implementation supporting latest Spigot and Paper. All these different pathfinding tasks could be achieved with the Processor API.

Happy to discuss (and help with integration/PR!) further if interested!
