• Email Address
• Password
• Slack Display Name
• Current Module on LMS
  • dropdown options
  • includes option for alumni
• Registration Code
  • provided by CI
  • changes with each Hackathon

I can try incorporate the majority of what John Traas raised in the call? Something around a boolean of staff or otherwise to the registration that can then be approved in the admin panel?
So basic flow would be:

• User upon registration would have an extra field declaring themselves as participant/staff.

• If user selects participant, their account would be instantly initialised in the admin panel as default with is_active flag set to default.

• If selected as Staff, their account would not be instantly initialised and the is_active flag would be set to False, requiring a member of the admin team to approve them onto the authorised functionality that a staff member would see.

@TravelTimN I know you are mega busy with all of this, but can we ammend the title of this issue to As User <-- as this will then incorporate all types of users and then change the prefix to "M" for Miscellanous please? :D
