Code to download packges doesn't work

Both Wilson and I ran the code as described and after many many updates, we still couldn't run the following from R:
devtools::install_github("ropensci/ghql")
devtools::install_github("ennsk/nabatr")

Wilson also tried downloading and installing locally and he got error messages.
