Hi there, I'm Philipp 👋

Full-Stack Software Engineer | Systems Administrator | Part Time Hacker | 🌐 Personal Blog

About Me

I'm a 24-year-old Computer Science graduate specializing in software development with 5-6 years of hands-on experience in the tech industry. I work in a fast-paced environment where I wear many hats - from developing robust web applications to architecting backend systems, managing databases, and overseeing IT infrastructure. I'm also deeply invested in cybersecurity, CTFs and hacking. I love visiting the anual Chaos Communication Congress and the GPN where i can meet like-minded people.

My philosophy is simple: The best code is not the most complex - it's the one that solves the problem elegantly.
Whether it's Assembly, C#, JavaScript, or anything in between, I try my best to write clean, efficient, and secure code that solves real problems.

I Also Love "Cursed" Software

Yes, I'm that person. The one who thinks "but can we do it?" because its a perfectly valid question. I've spent countless hours building delightfully questionable projects:

  • JavaScript Bootloaders - Because why should bootcode be boring?
  • Wireguard over WebRTC - Tunneling VPN through browser APIs, because protocols are just mere suggestions
  • Calling C# Code from Oracle Procedures - That was actually my capstone Project for my Apprenticeship
  • IPv4 over UART at 25 Million Baud - because 56k modems are so 1980s
  • And probably dozens of other "wait, that shouldn't work but somehow it does" projects

They're unconventional, they make database administrators cry, and they teach you way more about how systems actually work than following best practices ever could.
If it's technically possible and teaches you something, it's worth building even if it belongs in a museum of terrible ideas.
