Good idea @slackero I'm wondering if using the icon Dashicons menu wouldn't be a better solution (instead of 3 bars) ? |

You can use whatever you like as bar content – just use the setting |

I like the idea of customizing the button. Could you please fix the merge conflicts but also do not update the /dist files. Those will get updated when a new release version is created.

barItemsis useful to customise the number of bars inside the menu button — as you know designers sometimes have other ideas of standards.I stumbled about an issue with hidden :last-child in IE8 which did not work as expected.
And if someone might need custom content instead of the bars use option
barfor that.
