Summary of Changes
Hello @MinCrohn, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!
This pull request refactors the Patchmap class to improve encapsulation and maintainability. It introduces a dedicated setter for the isInit property, ensuring that all modifications to this internal state are handled through a controlled access point, thereby centralizing the logic for state changes.
Highlights
- Encapsulation: Introduced a
set isInit(value)method within thePatchmapclass to provide a controlled way of modifying the_isInitprivate property. - Consistency: Updated existing assignments to
_isInitin theinit()anddestroy()methods to now utilize the newly createdisInitsetter, promoting consistent state management.

Code Review
This pull request introduces a setter for the isInit property in the Patchmap class and updates internal usages to go through this new setter. This improves encapsulation and consistency. My review includes a suggestion to make the new setter more robust by ensuring the assigned value is always a boolean, which will improve code quality and prevent potential bugs.

The new isInit setter accepts any value and assigns it directly to _isInit. Since isInit is a flag, it's best to ensure it's always a boolean to prevent potential issues and maintain type consistency.
You can make the setter more robust by coercing the incoming value to a boolean. This ensures that this._isInit will always hold a boolean value.

| this._isInit = value; | |

| set isInit(value) { | |
