Summary of Changes

Hello @MinCrohn, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request introduces a new default configuration for a 'bar' element within the data conversion utility. This change ensures that when legacy data is processed, a standard structure for bar elements is available, providing a foundation for future rendering or manipulation of these elements.

Highlights

  • Bar Element Configuration: Added a default configuration object for a 'bar' element type within the convertLegacyData utility function. This configuration includes properties such as type, show, size, source (a white rectangle with radius 3), and tint.

Code Review

This pull request adds a bar component configuration to the legacy data conversion logic. While the addition itself is correct and aligns with the component's usage elsewhere, it introduces code duplication. I've added a review comment with a suggestion to refactor the duplicated code into a constant to improve the code's maintainability.

This bar component configuration is identical to the one used for grids (lines 49-55). To avoid code duplication and improve maintainability, I recommend extracting this object into a constant.

You could define it at a suitable scope, for example, inside the convertLegacyData function, and reuse it in both places.

const defaultBarComponent = {
  type: 'bar',
  show: false,
  size: '100%',
  source: { type: 'rect', radius: 3, fill: 'white' },
  tint: 'primary.default',
};
