would it be possible to have the possibility to change the \t in the print output to x spaces?

Making the formatted output configurable is currently out of scope for cJSON.

Maybe something that could be done in the future though. The entire formatted printing should be revisited at some point in the future.

I had to modify both indent and carriage return, for now I do it at compile time like this:
