Come up with car classes and manufacturers

Some ideas for car class names:

OW30 - Open wheelers from 1930's
OW50 - Open wheelers from 1950's
OW60 - Open wheelers from 1960's
... and so on for open wheelers

PT60 - Prototypes from 1960's
PT70 - Prototypes from 1970's
... and so on for prototypes

TRC1 - Touring Race Car 1 series (somewhat like gt3?)

For rally cars:
?

Also should we have our own made up manufacturer names? Or just name by class and number, for example two different 1930 open wheeler cars OW301 and OW302?

I think we could work with fake names for the cars, but stick with the names of the classes. Also, I think we could add a base car for each category and call it 'Le Wagon'. It'd be something like:

• Le Wagon GT
• Le Wagon Sport
• Le Wagon Endurance

The advantage is that we could use it as a platform to create the other cars.

For the rally cars, I suggest to stick with the FIA groups, since most models will be inspired by this designs. So:

• Groups 1,2,3 and 4(1950-1970)
• Groups N, A and B(1980-1990)
• WRC(2000-)

There already exists a base_car.tscn or something like that, which is used as a base for all of the current cars. I dont think we should have a base car per class but just use the existing base car for upcoming cars.

I am not actually sure if using the FIA group names would be legal to use without an expensive license. This is something i need to figure out.

I have been slacking when it comes to keeping up with this project. I really need to get back at it.
