If an admin changes VPN Config settings the connected client shows a little popup bubble message but only if the clients ui is open / active / displayed / shown...

I would like to see a more prominent message, like in the specific desktop environment's notification mechanism...

• Gnome Notification Area...
• KDE, dunnow, but should have some...
• xfce, dunnow, but should have some...
• MacOS, definitly has one...
• Windows,has a very annoying one...

@kchudy As far as I understand from the description, this refers to system-level notifications, not in-app notifications.
I might be mistaken, but as far as I know, I can’t create a custom design for system notifications across different platforms.

No one wants you to custom design system notifications but I'd want the notifications in general to be System Notifications and not (only) in app...

@kchudy @Va1ter @Zappo-II i agree with 2.0 client (soon to be implemented) we need to drop our custom notifications in favor of system notifications.
