Describe the improvement

I would like the option to add a command after a program is updated. Some programs create desktop icons, I hate that. I would like to be able to add a command after the program updates to delete that icon.

Describe how this improvement could help users.

Would save me from having to delete the icons over and over again when the program updates

Martí Climent (@marticliment) This isn't a duplicate of 1225 - post install update scripts would be much simpler to implement than what 1225 is requesting which is custom entire installation scripts from my understanding. And frankly useful to far more people.

No worries, I had to re-read the other post a couple times myself to be sure of what he was getting at.

Also I realize I was saying post-install "scripts", but really just the ability to run a specified command per app would be enough, since the command could simply call any batch script or other script. And cmd and powershell commands can be chained anyway.
