The default language pack modifies component names to make it easier to detect and track stats.
Component changes:
XL-1 → XL-1 Military A
Additional changes from StarStrings Pack
- Contracts that award BP's have
[BP]in the title[BP]*for contracts with shared text and only a specific one awards, which is stated in description
- Warning prefixes for illegal substances
- Any
item_commodities_raw_entry that begins "Raw ..." will now be suffixed (Raw) instead - Hauling contract titles cleaned up and Direct underlined
- Reformatted the Mining guide journal entry to group ores by rarity
- nb. I do not verify that the source journal entry is in any way accurate.
- Type notation prefix for missiles (Thanks to WhisperDark in Discord for suggestion)
- Eg.
Dominator II Missile->[EM] Dominator II Missile
- Eg.

- Hephaestanite shortened to Heph #12
- Instability:/Resistance: shortened to Instab.:/Resist.: due to overlapping issues

Which pack should i use? [ScCompLangPack / Remix / Remix2 / StarStrings]
Basically, all the packs have the same QoL changes, they only differ in component naming. So i suggest choosing the preffered component naming.

- Extract the ZIP file.
- If you already have a
user.cfgfile, do not overwrite it. Instead, open your existing user.cfg and add the following line at the endg_language = english. - Copy the
datafolder and the (user.cfg) file into your game’s LIVE folder root. - Launch the game.
