Leave hamburger open on first open for mobile

The experience signing in on mobile web (maybe native, haven't checked yet) is odd because it goes straight to a blank empty page, and then it hangs out there a long time while downloading the initial content. I think the hamburger should remain open, so I can see that it's doing something

Marking HIGH because it's the first thing you see on mobile web (and probably native, but I haven't tested there yet)
