Action Performed:

  1. Go to staging.new.expensify.com
  2. Create a new workspace.
  3. Go to workspace chat.
  4. Submit an expense.
  5. Click Submit on the expense preview.
  6. Click Approve.
  7. Click Pay elsewhere.
  8. Open another chat.
  9. Send a message.
  10. Go to account settings > Troubleshoot > Clear cache and restart.
  11. Click Reset and refresh.
  12. After the app loads, go to Reports > Chats.
  13. Note that the expense preview shows "owes" instead of "paid".

Expected Result:

The expense preview will show "paid" as the expense is paid.

Actual Result:

The expense preview shows "owes" instead of "paid".
