Action Performed:

1. Navigate to staging.new.expensify and log in with expensifail account, that has chats with long history
2. Turn off the internet connection
3. Open a chat with a long history and observe the page

Expected Result:

Loading animation is displayed in the chat when user opens it offline for the first time

Actual Result:

Loading animation is not displayed when opening a chat with long history offline. Chat history is blank except for the last message at the bottom of a page.

@mitarachim I wasn’t able to see the issue in the screen recording you shared. Could you provide another recording that clearly demonstrates the issue?

Additionally, if the issue doesn’t occur in the production environment, could you share a recording showing the expected behavior in production?
