Action Performed:

1. Open Hybrid app
2. Sign up with an account without +
3. Tap on 'Track and budget expenses'
4. Insert first name
5. Tap 'Continue'
6. Create a manual expense. Submit it to yourself.
7. Tap on 'Categorize it' > 'Upgrade' > 'Got it, thanks'
8. Tap on '<' back button at top left corner. Go to Inbox.
9. Tap on Concierge chat
10. Tap on #admins deeplink

Expected Result:

The user is redirected to #admins within the app.

Actual Result:

The user is redirected to mWeb.

@sakluger FYI I haven't added the External label as I wasn't 100% sure about this issue. Please take a look and add the label if you agree it's a bug and can be handled by external contributors.

I'm able repro on a staging build (via Browserstack). The message comes from the backend and is generated as If you have any questions, chat with your setup specialist in <a href="https://new.expensify.com/r/xxxx" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">#admins</a>.
It must be that something about interpreting links on native has changed, but I don't see anything obvious in the checklist yet. I'll keep looking for a bit and otherwise open for contributors.
