Expense - Merge option disappears after adding receipt to split expense until page refresh

App Component: Money Requests

Action Performed:

1. Go to https://staging.new.expensify.com/home
2. Create a Workspace with USD currency, select Billable default and enable Prevent self-approvals
3. Open workpace chat
4. Create a manual expense with amount INR 99.99
5. Open the expense - more - split the expense
6. Open the second expense
7. Tap more - note merge option is displayed
8. Add a receipt
9. Tap more - note merge option shown briefly and disappears
10. Open receipt and verify receipt image loaded fully
11. Close the receipt page
12. In expense details, tap more and note merge option still not shown
13. Refresh the page - tap top back arrow
14. Tap more and now note merge option is displayed

Expected Result:

The Merge option should be consistently visible in the More menu of a split expense, even after adding a receipt.

Actual Result:

Before adding a receipt, the Merge option is shown.

After adding a receipt, the Merge option briefly appears, then disappears from the More menu.

Even after fully loading and closing the receipt, the Merge option remains missing.

Only after refreshing the page and navigating back does the Merge option reappear.

@youssef-lr @dominictb. I think it's the expected result (except for having to page refresh, but I tested on my end and I didn't have to refresh the page). Anw, when we add a receipt for an expense, we will scan attached receipts in the background, therefore we will hide "Merge" button, the "Merge" button will be available again when the scanning process is completed.
