Issue reported by: @jamesdeanexpensify
Slack conversation: #product

Action Performed:

  1. Create a report
  2. Add a couple of expenses to it
  3. Click More > Download as PDF
  4. Click Download

Expected Result:

This is an improvement after a complaint was brought to us by a customer.

  • We want to action on generating and downloading the PDF when Download as PDF is clicked in step 3, instead of having to force clicking "download" again when ready.
  • As for the alert modal, we can change that button from Download to Got it to dismiss it.

Actual Result:

You have to click Download again in the alert modal, which forces an extra click unnecessarily.

Workaround:

Can the user still use Expensify without this being fixed? Have you informed them of the workaround?
