Action Performed:

Precondition:

• Device is on iOS 26.0 or newer

1. Launch Expensify app.
2. Go to Account > Troubleshoot.
3. Tap Switch to Expensify Classic.
4. On Expensify Classic, tap + button.
5. Open hamburger menu > Reports.
6. Tap + button > Expense Report.
7. Tap Edit.

Expected Result:

• "Edit Report" header will remain black in white background.
• Green "Type" title will not overlap with the header.

Actual Result:

• "Edit Report" header turns white in white background.
• Green "Type" title overlaps with the header.

This issue happens after #75711 is merged.

It looks like iOS 26 has changed how it handles app layout. I’m working on a simple reproduction app to pinpoint what exactly changed and eliminate any noise that makes the investigation harder. The straightforward solution would be to rely on safe area insets, but I’m concerned that doing so might introduce unwanted changes elsewhere in the app.
