Action Performed:

1. Open https://staging.new.expensify.com/
2. Log in with your new HT account
3. Create a WS
4. Go to the WS room
5. Create any manual expense
6. Go to the details of the created expense
7. Create a new expense via + Menu
8. Enter any amount - continue
9. On the “Confirm details” page, add any number to the end of the address in the browser address bar - enter
10. In the window that appears for entering the amount in RHP, click next
11. Enter any amount again in the repeated “Amount” window - next
12. Add a Merchant
13. Complete the creation of the expense.

Expected Result:

After creating an expense via the report details, the user should be redirected back to the report details

Actual Result:

After creating the expense, the user is redirected to the WS room, not to the report details

Please re-state the problem that we are trying to solve in this issue.

After creating the expense, the user is redirected to the WS room, not to the report details

What is the root cause of that problem?

When we change the reportID in url, the report will be undefined, and we’re using it in requestMoneyIOUActions to get the activeReportID, if it’s undefined the activeReportID will be the workspace chat

What changes do you think we should make in order to solve the problem?

In IOURequestStepConfirmation, we should fallback to transactionReport if reportDraft and reportReal are both undefined
