Action Performed:

Precondition:

  • Log in with Expensifail account.
  • Account has self DM
  1. Go to staging.new.expensify.com.
  2. Go to self DM.
  3. Create an expense with non-zero amount.
  4. Open the expense thread.
  5. Click Amount.
  6. Change the amount to zero and save it.
  7. Go back to self DM.
  8. Click Submit it to someone.
  9. Select workspace chat or any user.
  10. On confirm page, enter merchant and select a category.
  11. Click Create expense.
  12. Open the submitted expense.

Expected Result:

The amount should remain zero.

Actual Result:

The amount changes to the original amount instead of zero
