Action Performed:

1. Launch app
2. Create workspace
3. Tap members - settings
4. Tap import - 10 members
5. Check total 11 members are shown
6. Go to Report - Expenses
7. Tap "From" filter

Expected Result:

Search box must be shown in "From" filter in Expenses section.

Actual Result:

Search box is not shown in "From" filter in Expenses section.

Search box is not shown in "From" filter

What is the root cause of that problem?

The "From" filter in the Expenses section uses UserSelectPopup, but isSearchable isn't passed. The component defaults to showing search only when totalOptionsCount >= 12 (CONST.STANDARD_LIST_ITEM_LIMIT).

What changes do you think we should make in order to solve the problem?

What alternative solutions did you explore? (Optional)

We can introduce a new constant FILTER_SEARCH_THRESHOLD (e.g., 8 or less) that's lower than STANDARD_LIST_ITEM_LIMIT (12). This constant would be used specifically in filter contexts to ensure the search box appears when there are 8 or more members, making search functionality available even when the member count is below the standard 12-item threshold.
