Issue reported by: Applause Internal Team
Bug source: Exploratory - Significant User Experience Deterioration
Device used: Windows 11/Chrome
App Component: Money Requests

Action Performed:

Precondition:

  1. Workspace with Rules enabled
  2. Attendee tracking enabled in Rules
  3. Enable Required Attendees option for any category in category settings
  4. Invite members to workspace
    Steps:
  5. Navigate to staging.new.expensify.com
  6. Go to workspace chat
  7. Create expense selecting the same category set in precondition & selecting multiple attendees
  8. Go to workspace settings >> Overview page
  9. Downgrade workspace to Collect workspace
  10. Go back to workspace chat
  11. Tap + >> Create expense
  12. Select same category as set in precondition that required attendees for control WS
  13. Click Create Expense CTA
  14. Observe user cannot create expense with the same category that required attendees after downgrading workspace

Expected Result:

On step 9 - After downgrading to Collect workspace, user should be able to create expense with the same category that had required attendees for control WS

Actual Result:

On step 9 - Create Expense CTA does nothing and user cannot create expense with the same category that required attendees after downgrading to Collect workspace
