Action Performed:

Precondition:

• Enable Taxes and Distance rates.
• Add two tax rates - 5% and 10 %.
• Add two distance rates - 1.00 / mile and 2.00 / mile.
• Enable Track tax in Distance rates settings.
• Assign 5% tax rate to 1.00 / mile with any tax reclaimable amount.
• Assign 10% tax rate to 2.00 / mile with any tax reclaimable amount.

1. Go to staging.new.expensify.com
2. Go to workspace chat.
3. Create a distance expense with 1.00 / mile.
4. Create a distance expense with 2.00 / mile.
5. Open any distance expense.
6. Click More > Merge.
7. Select the other distance expense > Continue.

Expected Result:

Tax rate selection should not be present when merging with distance expenses because tax rate is fixed with distance rate.

Actual Result:

Tax rate selection is present when merging with distance expenses when tax rate is fixed with distance rate.
