Coming from an internal discussion (reference), we're looking to update the default columns we show when a user visits the Reports > Expenses page. The new default columns we have enabled should be:

• Receipt
• Type
• Date
• Status
• Merchant
• From
• Category
• Total

Actual Result: The default columns on the Reports > Expenses page currently display Type, Date, Status, Merchant, From, Category, Total. The Receipt column is not visibly present in the table headers.

What is the root cause of that problem?

The default columns for the Reports > Expenses page are defined in src/CONST/index.ts. The TYPE_DEFAULT_COLUMNS.EXPENSE array currently includes Receipt, Date, Merchant, From, To, Category, Tag, Total Amount, and Action—but omits Type and Status in the default order, and includes columns (To, Tag, Action) that are not in the desired default set. This configuration does not match the intended default columns: Receipt, Type, Date, Status, Merchant, From, Category, Total.

What changes do you think we should make in order to solve the problem?

1. Update TYPE_DEFAULT_COLUMNS.EXPENSE in src/CONST/index.ts to add Type and Status, remove To, Tag, and Action, and reorder columns to match the intended default: Receipt, Type, Date, Status, Merchant, From, Category, Total.

2. Optional: Update the columns object in getColumnsToShow in src/libs/SearchUIUtils.ts: when visibleColumns is empty or equals the default, the display uses this object. Set STATUS: true and ACTION: false so the default view matches the new columns.

What is the root cause of that problem?

The default columns for Reports > Expenses are defined with the old set, and the runtime fallback logic for the page also hardcodes a different old visibility map. Because these two places are not aligned with the new requirement, users still see outdated defaults.
